Activities carried out under the MoU include flood risk management training in Brisbane in November 2018, a water law workshop in Jakarta in November 2018 and an irrigation modernisation project in north Lombok in February 2019. Future proposals under consideration include further flood resilience training, use of remote sensing technology for water quality and the potential of coastal reservoirs.
