Associate Professor Greg Fealy is an Australian academic specialising in Indonesian politics and history. He is regarded as one of Australia’s foremost experts on Indonesian political, religious and social affairs.

Professor Fealy currently serves as Chair of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s Australia-Indonesia Institute.

Professor Fealy is a Senior Fellow of Indonesian Politics in the Department of Political and Social Change at the Australian National University’s Bell School of Asia-Pacific Affairs. Professor Fealy has written extensively on Islamic politics, Australia-Indonesia relations, religious tolerance in Indonesia, and Indonesia's international relations.

Professor Fealy has worked as an Indonesian analyst with the Australian Office of National Assessments, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and with USAID.
