Professor Herawati Sudoyo
Professor Herawati Sudoyo is a molecular biologist who specialises in mitochondrial DNA as genetic markers in population studies.
Her expertise in analysing DNA led to the identification of the perpetrators of 2004 Australian Embassy bombing.
Professor Sudoyo received an Australian Alumni Award for Research and Innovation for her outstanding research in molecular biology and the genetic diversity of people in Indonesia and across South East Asia.
