Graham Ashton AM APM was the Australian Federal Police’s (AFP) law enforcement liaison officer in Indonesia from 1995 to 1997.

In 2002 he returned to Indonesia as Police Forward Commander leading the Australian police’s response to the Bali bombings under Operation Alliance. The joint investigation and victim identification process between AFP and the Indonesian National Police was the largest conducted between the two countries.

In 2003, he was made a Member of Order of Australia for his role in the investigation.
